Accessibility Statement

1. Commitment

Simplicity Upload LTD is committed to making its public website accessible to people who use assistive technologies, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

2. Standard

This service is assessed against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in line with HMRC third-party software accessibility requirements for our customer-facing web application.

3. Conformance status

Following engineering review, manual checks, and production verification in May 2026, we believe the public site at simplicity-upload.co.uk meets WCAG 2.1 AA for the scope described below, except for the known limitations in section 4.

This statement is not a formal certification or independent audit by a third-party assessor.

4. Known limitations

  • Promotional video: captions are visible in the video recording; a full text transcript is provided. Some on-screen titles use red on a light background and may be hard to read. A separate audio-description track is not provided (equivalent information is in the transcript).
  • Errors: some payment or API errors may show generic messages rather than detailed correction hints.
  • Custom controls: pricing quantity steppers have ARIA labels; further assistive-technology testing may be carried out as we improve the service.

5. Scope

This statement covers the public Simplicity Upload web application (for example home, VAT upload, pricing, account login and dashboard, and legal pages). It does not cover separate products or admin-only tools outside that public scope.

6. What we provide

  • skip link to main content, page titles, and landmark regions;
  • form labels, autocomplete attributes, and visible focus indicators;
  • footer links to cookie, privacy, terms, GDPR, and this accessibility statement;
  • promotional video captions in the recording plus a linked text transcript.

7. Feedback and enforcement

If you have difficulty using any part of this site, email support@simplicity-upload.co.uk with the page URL and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
